The walk back home

I just made a visit to the library that day. And here are just some photos of books that I saw...I first read the one on Jane Austen's town and country style...That was just one photo that I saw. For Lit, we were supposed to write an esasay on Jane Austen. I did on individualism though I would not credit myself for this good topic. I merely typed Emma and took the first word Google would associate an essay with it. Still, the more I read her books, the more I adore her life and society she was living in. I must admit that I am conscious of the fictitious beauty, oblivious to the hurt and nagativity of those days, embroidered in the picture of Jane Austen's society by her books. Yet, I believe that this is what fiction is for and what fiction portrays needs not be indispensable for reality. besides, we should not iew negativity in fear. Our eyes are opened to the heart-thudding pain of society to hear our heart throbs of the desperacy for prayer. Every one hurt is every one need to pray. This is why I believe I love fiction. And Jane Austen at the same time. It gives me the need to just enjoy her society--a place where time is never in inadequacy and but adequate to enjoy luxury. Thus, I consider a beautiful thing.

This is the second book I read. Knitting under the influence. It kind of fits my intellectual appetite. It is certainly a chick lit book and the genres of both books are certainly similar. Yet when there's beauty, the keen eye of the beholder must be ready. Reading Pride and Prejudice after Mansfield park after Persuasion (my ultimate favorite) after Jane Austen's Town and country style is certainly tiring. Imagination runs to picture the lifestyle then. Here in knitting under the influence, read the words for itself just to look up and view an environment all so familiar. But there's a difference in living in SIngapore and LA.For one, how many knitting circles are there in Singapore? And I love knitting!!! I have been wanting to try it for years!!! Someday, I will try starting one. Then, there's the 'haufig' spew of vulgarities. But what is most different is the carefree bitchy woven work and friend lifestyle. The in and out love periods, the never-ending bagels, and certainly looooong ball of yarn.
