Oscars yeaterday...I did not quite see the Oscars yesterday but it is definitely one of my favourites...and a hotspot for fashion gossip such as who got a F or an A...
Anyway, slumdog millionaire swept off 8 of its 10 nominations and I must say I have never thought of it as such a good movie. Firstly, it is a NC-16 movie so definitely way above my age though nowadays it is easier to sneak in...(just joking). And besides there was the controversy about its name, saying that Mumbai protestors felt that the slums were compared to dogs and was an insult. BUt the love story seems really sweet...The coolest part was the fact that it filmed it in Mumbai itself...just make it seem more the real...
And my friends and I were just discussing on Penelope Cruz...she is pretty dadada...She definitely gets an A for her gorgeous gown yesterday... And I read online about the gasp when the camera swept to Angelina Jolie during Jennifer Alliston's presentation. Seriously, the camera could have done that on purpose...but it was definitely hot news! I would not have missed it...
