Ok so food is really comfort. I am feeling much better after my dinner now. We had sea cucumber and chicken (without bones) for one course and then vegetables (the normal steamed kind,boring). We eat the average Chinese meal...
Anyway I remember that my dad used to talk about the sea cucumber that he ate when he was really young...his mum cooked it once a year just for New Year and it tasted so good that he could remember it until now. When he said this, I had always wanted to learn the recipe from Gran but she died before I was able to do so.
Anway er should not get nostalgic here...
