This is one of the most interesting courses I took part in! Initially, I went for the course because most of my CCA went and I am quite interested in this. This is one of the types of writing i have not done so far. I never knew it was such a great course!Today we just talk about basics and I am hooked. I also love the topic i am doing on: How to work with lousy group mates and this topic proves so useful. I mean I can use one myself. So I definitely love journalism which pushes me to want to create a mini magazine myself just for fun. And for practising my skills. My sis would be working with me.
This is also the first time I wonder why the mass communications is so important. Of course you would need to know about information around the world which is crucial for your economic and development but ever wonder if you read just to belong? Just so you can participate in the conservation? I suddenly thought of the time when I went to the hair salon and everyone was talking about the case where a zoo worker was dead after jumping into 3 white tigers' moat (if you are Singaporean and don't know this, you seriously need a dosage of The Straits Times). SO anyway, i feel that I can relate to it easily and for once, talking to these aunties seem so easy.
